The Game of Homes builds from the the Housing Match activity, taking it one step further, to realize a diversity of housing developments on one city block. Participants begin with the Housing Match activity to determine which persona is matched to their best suited housing, given their income and household size and type. This information is documented on a worksheet that then helps participants, collectively, to build out a city block with the goal of housing each participant’s personas. Designed for groups of four, this challenges participants to be strategic about their housing choices to meet residents needs, and then after reflect on how this applies to their neighborhoods, communities and city.
